Deze kruk is vernoemd naar maquettebouwer Jaap Kraayenhof. In zijn werkplaats heb ik het eerste model gemaakt.  Het systeem is heel simpel, de schuine kanten aan de horizontale balken drukken zich vast in de schuine vlakken van de vertikale balken door het gewicht van de gebruiker. De lengte, dikte en het gebruik van het aantal balken zijn variabel, hierdoor is dit ontwerp erg veelzijdig.

This bench is named after model maker Jaap Kraayenhof. I built the first prototype at his workshop.

It's based on a simple principle: the weight of the user presses the edges of the horizontal bars snugly in the vertical bars. Length, girth and the number of bars are variable, which makes this design very versatile.
