I'm Tomm Velthuis, born in Groningen in 1986. My passion for design was first aroused at the Vrije School (Antroposophic Dutch primary and secondary education).
Currently I'm studying at the Design Academy in Eindhoven (NL). I'm especially busy discovering how to contribute to this world as a designer.
My academic specialization is called Man and Communication; a field of expertise in which it is of the utmost importance to be able to tell a good story. To get across thoroughly thought-over concepts. Designs that really matter can originate from such stories. Designs that touch the quintessence.
Through my work I try to make people laugh and, if possible, send them on the wrong track. I try to let people experience things in a different perspective. I get the most satisfaction from projects with humor: the best ideas spring from my own fun and enjoyments.
In my opinion, humor and creativity are closely interlinked.
